Cancellation Policy

1. Booking & Payment - To confirm your session, a 50% down payment is required through our online booking system. - Once payment is received, you’ll receive a booking confirmation email and a representative from our team will coordinate with you on your scheduled date, time, instructor assignment, and any important notes. - If you experience any issues with online payment, you may contact us via WhatsApp (+63 931 128 3149) to arrange an alternative payment method (e.g. bank transfer using IBAN, Maya, Wise or Revolut). 2. Remaining Balance - The remaining 50% balance is payable on the day of your first session, using any of the payment method mentioned above or in cash. 3. Refunds & Cancellations by the School - If your session cannot proceed due to no wind, unsafe weather, or unforeseen circumstances on the school’s end, you are entitled to a refund of your unused hours. - Alternatively, you may reschedule your session for a later available date at no additional cost. 4. Cancellations by the Student - If you cancel your session after a date and time have been confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable, but you may reschedule your session, no expiration, but subject to availability. - For cancellations due to personal unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, emergency), refunds may be granted at the school’s discretion. - In such cases, the standard hourly rate will apply for any completed lessons; package discounts will not apply. 5. No-Show Policy - If a student fails to attend a confirmed session without notice, the session will be considered completed, and payment will not be refunded. 6. Weather & Safety Conditions - Siquijor Surfzone reserves the right to delay, reschedule, or cancel sessions if weather or sea conditions are unsafe. - Decisions will be made by the instructor or management team to ensure the safety of all participants. 7. Liability & Conduct - Students must follow all safety instructions provided by instructors. - The school is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property during lessons. - Participation is at the student’s own risk, and students should be in good physical health to engage in kitesurfing activities. 8. Communication - All booking updates, rescheduling, and payment confirmations will be communicated via WhatsApp. - Please ensure your contact information is accurate and that you monitor messages leading up to your session.
